Goshen First Fridays June 2026: Birthday Bash Guide

Written by on June 2, 2026

When someone else plans the party, handles the food, books the entertainment, AND invites the whole town? That’s the kind of Friday night energy we are HERE for. No dishes. No cleanup. Just vibes.

Downtown Goshen First Fridays is turning 19 — and the Birthday Bash on Friday, June 5 (5–9 p.m.) is going to be one for the books.

Pull up your calendar, text your sister, and tell your kids to clear their Friday night. Here’s everything you need to know before you go.

🎂 What Is Goshen First Fridays?

If you haven’t made it to a First Fridays event yet, let this be your sign. Every month, Downtown Goshen Inc. takes over the streets with live entertainment, food vendors, local shopping, and free family activities. downtowngoshen

This June, they’re celebrating 19 years of First Fridays programming with the Birthday Bash — a prelude to their massive 20th anniversary coming in 2027. Think of it as the warm-up act before the big show. And honestly? The warm-up looks incredible. downtowngoshen

🎤 The Entertainment Lineup

You are not going to be bored. Not even for five minutes.

Vinyl Habits takes the stage at Main and Washington from 5–7 p.m. and again from 8–9 p.m. — so the music bookends your whole night perfectly. downtowngoshen

From 7–8 p.m., it’s Wrestling on Main — yes, live wrestling right in the square. Your kids are going to lose their minds. (Honestly, same.) downtowngoshen

And if that’s not enough action, you can also ride the Mechanical Bull and test your skills on the Viewrail Obstacle Course. downtowngoshen

Bonus: Young at Art is hosting a Cake Decorating Class from 6–7:30 p.m. at Maple Indian Cuisine (127 S Main) for $55 — sign-ups are required, so grab your spot early. downtowngoshen

  • Cortado has a “French Twist”: a toasted croissant filled with vanilla ice cream, homemade hot fudge, whipped cream, and a cherry. Yes, really.
  • Shirley’s Popcorn is dishing out Birthday Cake Popcorn — because obviously.
  • Maple City Market has free ice-cold popsicles on festival grounds.
  • And there’s a free soda waiting for you at the Wild West Soda Truck at the Wellington & Weddell 100th Anniversary party. downtowngoshen

Plus a full fleet of food trucks including Kona Ice, Papa’s Dippin’ Donuts, Sweazy Q, Tropicana Ice Cream, and more. You will not leave hungry. That is a promise. downtowngoshen
