I am Elkhart County through and through! With a name like Stutsman, it’s probably not hard to believe that my family has been in the Elkhart/Goshen area since the 19th century. I graduated from Concord High School in 2008 as the 4thgeneration of my family to graduate from Concord. My mother grew up at Memorial, and her mother was among the last to graduate from the ORIGINAL Elkhart High School.
I married my wife (Paige, also a Concord grad) in Goshen in 2014 and we have a beautiful daughter (Sawyer) who will one day add to that Concord legacy. I started my radio career with News/Talk 95.3 Michiana’s News Channel in 2010 when it first came on the air and spent the better part of nearly 5 years with the station as an anchor, reporter, and assistant program director before leaving for Indianapolis. I then spent two years in Indy with WIBC as an anchor, reporter, and co-host. As is the case with just about anyone in my industry, I spent some time away after that but found my way back home late in 2017.
I love Elkhart County, and being back home is the best thing that could have happened to my family. Whether it’s fishing at Ox Bow Park, golfing at Black Squirrel or Old Orchard, or even just soaking my feet at Bonneville Mill—Elkhart County is where I want to be, and I am so happy to contribute what I can to the community!
Also, I’m the definition of a Chicago Bears fanatic, so if you need me during a game…good luck!
